Paleo Breakfast Ideas

Everyone says the most important meal in your day is breakfast.  I don’t know if I agree or disagree on this statement.  I do agree you need to eat breakfast, but I feel every meal you eat in your day is important.  When I have a lot of time in the mornings, my breakfast can become complex with lots of cooking.  Then there are days when I only have 2 minutes to make my meal.  Each person is unique and needs to find what fits their schedule and it might change based on the day or your lifestyle.

When I eat my breakfast, it occurs after an early morning workout.  Prior to working out, I eat one scoop of raw coconut oil.  This gives my gut something to digest while I work out, but not too much, keeping it in fat burning mode.

 

My Paleo Breakfast Ideas:
*My favorite when in a crunch for time….Vega One Nutritional Shake, Berry, 30 Ounce with added berries, coconut milk and wheat grass.
*Eggs with goat cheese
*Coconut milk with homemade granola
*”Pancakes”
*Hard boiled eggs (when in a pinch for time)
*Hash-browns and eggs
*Applegate brand lunch meat with Goat Cheve
*Goat yogurt with fresh berries
*Fresh berries with slices of avocado
*Nut bars 
 

Homemade Granola

Ingredients
2 TBL chia seas
2 TBL sliced almonds
1/4 cup fresh berries
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp hemp seeds
1/2 cup coconut milk (out of carton)
 
Directions:
1.  Mix all ingredients together, but berries and let sit for 5-10 minutes.  You may stir occasionally.
2.  Add in berries and ENJOY!
