Paleo Crack

Have you ever wondered around your kitchen having a craving for something sweet, salty or crunchy?  I often find myself staring into the cupboards wanting something, but I just don’t know what.  This Paleo crack will solve ALL your cravings.  I have eaten it alone or used it as a dip.  If you are person who loves dips or condiments this recipe is also for you!  I’ve used apples and celery to dip into it.  I also love how this only requires 3 ingredients and they are common ingredients within a Paleo household.  The 3 ingredients are coconut oil, almond butter and honey!  I buy my almond butter in bulk from the local food co-op.  I find their almond butter to taste fresh and is very reasonable in price.  If you are new to Paleo, you want to use raw unfiltered honey.  Raw unfiltered honey is very close to coming straight from a beehive, it is about as natural as you can get. Paleo Crack

Ingredients:
1 Tbl almond butter
1 tsp coconut oil
1/4 tsp (a small squeeze) raw unfiltered honey
 
Directions:
1.  Place all ingredients in a bowl and stir.

*Depending on your season and the consistency of the coconut oil, I have microwaved the dish before mixing it to create a warm gooey mixture.  If I’m trying to get the coconut oil soft, I microwave for 10 seconds, but if I want it gooey I go for 20 seconds.  You’ll have to experiment to see how you like it!!
